Have you ever been in a situation and thought "What was I thinking" or "Why am I even doing this"? Well, that's exactly where I am at this moment. I really don't know what prompted me to start blogging now....I mean, there's nothing special about today. I didn't have any grand epiphanies or do anything worthy of blogging about, but for some reason I decided today is the day. What will become of this blog, who knows? Hopefully it will chronicle my life as a Christian, mommy, wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, and nurse. Do I think my life is anything extraordinary....NOPE.
So, you may ask where the title of my blog came from. That's an easy answer. I was blessed with an awesome opportunity to attend Winter Jam 2011 last weekend along with some very special women in my life, and about 21,000 more people. I can't tell you how amazing it is to be in a room with 21,000 people, hands in the air, praising our Lord!! It's a night I won't soon forget. One of the musical highlights was Francesca Battistelli singing her new song "This Is The Stuff." Man, that song speaks to so many people, especially busy mommies. One line says "In the middle of my little mess, I forget how big I'm blessed" and oh, how true that is. So, since there's no real topic to my blog other than daily "stuff", I thought the title would be appropriate :)
That's enough for tonight I suppose. I'll be back soon...with what's sure to be a post just as mundane and unexciting as this one...I can tell you're excited!!
